Cinnamon Red held its Associates Quarterly Meeting for the fourth quarter of 2017/18 at the hotel’s Flavoured restaurant on April 19.
The meeting was held to reward and recognise individuals who have gone beyond their call of duty.
Saliya Silva from Food and Beverage won the Associate of the Quarter, Front of House award. He was recognized for doing a fantastic job in supporting both his colleagues and the management. He has received numerous positive guest comments and has performed well in his role as Supervisor at Cloud Red.
Nuwan Jayaweera from Engineering won the Associate of the Quarter, Back of House award. He was recognised for his exceptional contribution towards minimising water wastage in the hotel. He also played an integral role in rectifying an issue in the gully on the seventh floor.
The winners received their awards from Terrence Fernando, General Manager, Cinnamon Red. In addition, a special skit performed by the Food and Beverage team, which was both humourous and educational, was well received by all participants.
